Learn to fly in Ohio

 One of the limiting factors when it comes to learning to fly is the cost. It seems like everywhere you look the cost to rent an airplane is well over $100. Except one place. That place is SkyPark in Wadsworth, OH. At SkyPark you can still rent a 150 for $50 a hour. You won't find prices like that anywhere else. SkyPark has a large fleet and has been around for a long time. I first started to fly there in 2007. It was the best prices I could find anywhere and the quality of instruction is simply the best. You don't have a bunch of young guys just looking to build hours. Here you have dedicated CFI's who instruct for a career. For some it is a part time career to supplement their income. For a few it is a full time career. This equates to receiving quality instruction. In aviation experience does matter. I always equated the logic of having young guys who just got their licenses teaching others how to fly as the blind leading the blind. There is so much that the young instructor has yet to learn but we expect him to be able to give quality instruction to someone else who is just learning to fly. It seems like bad logic to me. Well at SkyPark you wont have that problem Their instructors are dedicated to giving quality instruction at reasonable rates. At other places you can expect to pay around $50 a hour for instruction. At SkyPark you will pay between $20-$25 a hour depending on the type of instruction that you are receiving.
